He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray D. Smith and Geraldine Cashwell Smith; his grandparents, Hubert C. Cashwell, Emma Mae Cashwell, Marshall Stephens Smith and Emma Maude Smith; and his sister Evelyn S. Rudd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church, 7667 Cedar Springs Road, Blakely, Ga.
