Carolyn Elaine Brooks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Elaine Brooks of Blakely, Georgia, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Charles and Ethel Mae Kennedy Zuelke; her spouse W. T. Brooks; her son Barry Brooks; and her siblings, Faye Fornea, Helen Houston, Rachel Corken and Harvey Lee Zuelke.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Cooley (Randi) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Ridge Cooley, Kendall Cooley and Breanna Brooks; and her great grandchild Brayden Sinquefield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Westview Methodist Church or Southeast Health Cancer Center.
