He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Alderman Jr. and JoAnne Grimsley Alderman. He is survived by: his wife Rena Alderman; his sons, William Cary Alderman (Stacy) of Blakely, Troy Drawdy Alderman (Carly) of Leesburg and James Brenton Alderman (Kendall) of Blakely; his grandchildren, Carlye Alderman Giannars (Wil), Morgan Alderman Smith (Doug), Will Alderman (Emily), Connor Alderman, Collyer Alderman, Cooper Alderman, Zack Alderman and Cade Alderman; his great grandchildren, Emerie Kate Giannars, Landon Giannars and Brody Smith; and his brother James Clayton Alderman (Lynn).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Buddy's memory to Colomokee Baptist Church.
