She is survived by: her siblings, Elder Jr., James, Lamar, Mattie Pearl and Mary Elizabeth; her nieces, Mary H. Chestnut and Ann Thomas; her nephew Wayne; her sisters-in-law, Brownie Mae, Marion Holmes and Hazel; her daughters, Sanjonetta and Vera Alice of Ashford, Ala.; her grandchildren, Alonza III Yvette (Bernisha), Xavier, Fernando (Lovely), Richard (Temperances), Colin (Brittany), Kelsi, Sanquenetta (Darrell), Sunquenetta and Toie Hicks; her sisters-in-law, Juanita and Mary Bryant; and her close friends, Rebecca George, Mary Allen and Lillian Reed.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home (1242 N Church St, Blakely, GA 39823). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Maryland MB Church.
