He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Holmes Powell and Irene Duke Powell; his wife Carol Hardwick Powell of Abbeville; and his sister Ann Ball. He is survived by: his son Arthur H. Powell, Jr. (Sandy); his grandsons, Parker and Eli Powell of Blakely; and his friends, Jeff Brown, Norman Chadwell, Eddie Martin and Jimmy Weaver.
Due to the rising Covid cases, a private burial will be held Tuesday, January 18th.
