It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Oscar Brazil of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Brazil and Gertrude Brazil; his wife Carolyn; his children, William Walker Brazil (Margaret Emery Brazil) and Caroline Wellborn Brazil Workman (Richard Harrison Workman); his grandchildren, Rebecca Tayloe Brazil Riley (Kyle James Riley), Benton Cole Workman and Jordan McClanahan Workman; his siblings, Marth Brazil Trice (William Mathew Trice) and James McClanahan Wellborn; and his sister-in-law Susan Boyd Wellborn. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
He completed his advanced studies at Stanford University; Freedom Foundation, Valley Forge; Pennsylvania, and Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida.
