It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Howard McCarter of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Pauline McCarter, Sr. (Young); and his brother Jim McCarter. He is survived by: his wife Myrta McCarter; his sons, Jeff McCarter (Rhonda) and Bill McCarter (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Brady, Bryce, Kait McCarter and Madison London (Will); and his siblings, Dora Colwell (Reid), Paula Davenport and Johnny McCarter (Connie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the family kindly requests that visitors please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of W.H. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville.
