He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bowers Sr. and Beatrice Austin Bowers; and his pet Sammy. He is survived by: his wife Jocelyn; his children, Walter Bowers III and Julie Bowers-Pryor (Bryan Pryor); and his pet Shorty.
