She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Tom Jackson and Hazel Chambers Jackson; her husband George "Junior" Young of Washington; her stepmother Irene Jackson; her son-in-law Jerry Roberts; her sister Eva; her brother-in-law Gene Wilson; and her brothers, Tommy Melba Jackson and Billy Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Danny (Billie Young), Randolph (Patricia Young) and Vivian Roberts of Blairsville; her sister-in-law Debra Jackson of Commerce, GA.; and her grandchildren, Tracy (Lon Dillard), Shannon Young (Tracey Floyd), Kim Ray, Carrie Daniel, Devin (Kim Roberts), Kyle (Courtney Young) and Kacie (James Bradley). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Nursing Home Activities Fund in Virginia's memory.
