With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Lea Puett (Blairsville, Georgia), who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Floyd and Irie Floyd; her husband Paul Puett Sr.; and her brothers, Richard, Andrew, Willard and T. A. Floyd, Jr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Kenneth Floyd and Joann Miriani; and her children, Carol Lynn (Ed) of Delray Beach, FL, Paul Puett Jr. (Electa) of Blairsville, GA, Ronnie Puett (Alice) of Virginia Beach, VA and Paula Hooper (Terry) of Young Harris, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
