He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdie Lovell and Lela Stephens; and his siblings, Edwin (Ed), Cork, Ray, Troy Lovell and Marie Underwood.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Heath Watkins of Cornelia; his sisters, Thelma Smith of Blairsville and Frances; his brother-in-law Ray Hughes of Blairsville; his grandchildren, Kyle and Alexis Smith; and his great grandchild Lukas Carter Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help defray expenses.
