He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Thomas and Jewell Dean Elliott Thomas; his wife Martha Wyatt Thomas; and his sister Patricia Terry. He is survived by: his brother John Thomas of Talking Rock, GA.; and his niece Leigha (Daniel Stuckey) of Smyrna, GA..
