He was predeceased by: his parents, C. A. Holbrooks and Bertha Duckworth Holbrooks; his son Teddie F. "Rocky" Holbrooks; and his siblings, Calvin, Roy Holbrooks, Lavada Cheek, Reeda Fay Kelley, EvaNell Smith and Barbara Holbrooks.
He is survived by: his close friend Melva Lynn Ledford of Blairsville; his daughters, Yolanda Strickland, Chenoa (Tommy Abercrombie) and Jessica Holbrooks (Jacquine Holbrooks); his brother Quinton; his sister-in-law Wanda Holbrooks; his sisters, Leona Hunter of Blairsville, Joyce Teague of Blairsville and Phyllis (Melvin Fuller); his grandchildren, Chalonda, Cameron, Kanon, Levi, Ethan and Hazel; and his great grandchild Oliver. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
