She was predeceased by: her former husband Ted Tyre; her parents, James Emory Harkins and Bonnie Chambers Harkins; and her siblings, Norma Jean Harkins Jones, Eula Lee Harkins Spence, J. C. Harkins and Charles Harkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Tyre Swanson; her husband Jerry; her son Chuck "Bobby" Tyre; her daughter-in-law Dawn; her grandchildren, Jennifer Swanson Mendoza (Jose) and Jennesa Swanson Isaac (Parise); and her great grandchildren, Parise Isaac, Jr., Jaylen Fortson, Christian Mendoza, Tristan Mendoza and Jerry Isaac.
