He was predeceased by: his mother Mary McDonald-Rivera. He is survived by: his father Rick Rivera; his children, Addison Rivera of Blairsville, Jeremiah Rivera of Blairsville and Kimber Rivera of Blairsville; his siblings, Shane Rivera of Copperhill, TN. and Heather; his brother-in-law Sergio Ovall of Portland, OR.; his grandmother Judy Rivera of Lake Placid, FL.; and his nephews, Leo and Eian Rivera.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help defray expenses in Shawn's memory.
