She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Leon Hinton and Margaret Hannah Graves Hinton; her husband Billy Bowen of Blairsville; her daughter Christy; her son-in-law Billy Smith of Flowery Branch, GA.; her stepdaughter Samantha (Wayne McBrayer); her sister Judy; her brother-in-law James Driskell of Culloden, GA.; her grandchildren, Downey Smith, William Smith and Hannah McBrayer; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Wayne Lawson of Suwanee, GA., Steve and Candi Driskell of Decatur, GA.. She was also cherished by several great nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
