Ruth Vivian Gillooly Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2023, at the age of 95, Ruth Vivian Gillooly of Blairsville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Adelard "Edward" Robert and Ruth Gunhilde Olsson Robert; her husband Neil Francis Gillooly; and her siblings, Irene Louise Vareschi and George Edward Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Carruthers of Charlotte, NC, Anthony Accetta of North Adams, MA, Patrick Accetta (Linda) of Somersworth, NH, Ruth Hamelin of North Adams, MA, Kurt Accetta (Wendy) of Belmont, NC and Vanessa Morris (Kenneth) of Acworth, GA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the O.A.S.I.S. program at the First United Methodist Church of Union County, Georgia, or a charity of your choice.
