He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Satterfield and Roy Satterfield Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Satterfield; his children, Justin Satterfield and Joy Kummel; his grandchildren, Charles Hill, Lance Hill, Andelin Hill, Corinne Hill and J. C. Kummel; and his sister Brenda Roberts (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in his memory be given to the Gideons, First Baptist Church of Blairsville, Mission Dignity, Samaritan's Purse, and St. Jude.
