He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Chancy Mathis and Violet Mixon Mathis; and his siblings, Sadie Sadler and Allen Mathis. He is survived by: his daughter Terry Churchill of Perry, FL.; his pet Maggie; his nieces and nephews, Rita, Glenn Roberts of Satellite Beach, FL., Ronnie, Sharron Mathis of Forest, MS., Denise Mathis of Gainesville, GA. and Debbie Sadler of Rockledge, FL.; and his grandchildren, Crystal and Britt.
