He was predeceased by: his wife Kate Ledford Twiggs; his parents, Jewel Twiggs and Lela Burch Twiggs; his siblings, Thelma Twiggs McConnell, Bobbi Twiggs Hiener, Frank, Johnny and Jim Twiggs; and his grandson Scotty Roberson.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Davenport, Brenda Lovett, Steve Roberson and Linda Weeks (Tommy); his grandchildren, Janie Farist (Shawn), Jonathan Davenport (Rachel), Jamie Reese, Stacy Roberson, Tina Blackstock and Heather Weeks (Derek); his siblings-in-law, Mary Twiggs, Mevlyn Ledford and Herman Hogsed; and his caregivers, Karen Ray and Sarah Kelly. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
