Ramon Monroe Alvarez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2020, at the age of 84, Ramon Monroe Alvarez of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Alvarez and Refugio Rivera Alvarez; and his siblings, Frank Alvarez and Josie Whiting. He is survived by: his children, Ramona (Joe Strait), Carmen Rinken of Normal, IL and Raymond Alvarez of Kissimmee, FL; his siblings, Dolores Cuevas of Highland, IN and Ralph; his sister-in-law Linda Alvarez of Portage, IN; and his grandchildren, April, Ashley, Manny and Keeler. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
