He was predeceased by: his father Fred Watson Edmondson; his wife Ila Jean Patterson Edmondson; his brother Raymond Edmondson; and his grandchildren, Joshua Edmondson, Alan Stinebrickner and Amanda Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Edmondson of Blairsville, Russell (Marjorie Edmondson) and Ron (Kathy Edmondson); his brother Frank; his sister-in-law Janice Edmondson of Clayton, GA; his sisters, Rosalea Marchman of Atlanta and Frances Radford of Murphy; and his grandchildren, H. D. Mansur, Kristen Goodman, Dakota Evan, Mindy Newman, Michelle Edmondson, Michael Edmondson, Robert Lyons, Amber Lyons, Kimberly Bourgeious, Savannah Bourgeious and Sarah Seelman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
