He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Johnson and Janie Herrington Sheffield; his wife Linda Ashworth Sheffield of Blairsville, GA; his children, Jeannie English of Blairsville, GA and Phill Sheffield, Jr. of Port St; his father-in-law Harry Clinton Ashworth of Blairsville, GA; and his grandchildren, Michael Brown, Justin Brown, Brandon Brown, Makenna Sheffield, Savannah Higgins, Dylan Higgins and Kyla Higgins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ashworth Sheffield Family Cemetery (104 Ashworth Ln, Blairsville, GA 30512).
