He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Schuette and Lillian Schuette; his wife Linda Beckham Schuette of Blairsville; his children, Marla McKinniss (Darin Bishop) of Lyman, SC, Ivan Rasmussen of Altus, OK, Curtiss Rasmussen (Sara) of Port St and Catherine Ast (Gery); his siblings, David Schuette (Betty) of Bedford, VA and Linda Kurtz (Jim) of Irvine, CA.; his grandchildren, Byron, Caroline, Carenna, Aubrey and Cadi; and his niece Pam Rozier.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
