She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry C. Twiggs and Lucille Whitlow Twiggs; and her siblings, Wanda L. Johnson and Grover H. Twiggs. She is survived by: her daughter Shea Auche of Blairsville; her sisters, Kathy Newman and Jan Newberry (Blue Ridge); her grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph and Steven Auche; and her great grandchild Naomi. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Shriner Children's Hospital in Mrs. McGowan's memory.
