We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 77, Nancy Margaret Gooch of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Hughes Colwell and Mary Sue Akins Colwell; and her husband Stephen Douglas Gooch Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Becky Gooch) and Jeff (Karen Gooch); her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Teresa Colwell; her sister Melinda Colwell of Blairsville; her grandchildren, Patrick, Payton, Presley, Chandler and Morgan Gooch; and her great grandchildren, Willow, Collis, Ellis and Laney.

Flowers are accepted, or, if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Hope House of Union County.
