He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Clyde Prime, Sr. and Beverly Mae Rawson Prime; and his siblings, George Prime and Beverly Creller. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Jarvis Prime (Susan); his children, James Prime of Blairsville, GA, Deborah Mabbett (Hathaway) of Roxbury, CT, Patricia Bertuna (Patrick) of Blairsville, GA and Kathy Pilote (Martin) of Blairsville, GA; his brother Warner Prime (Cora) of Alburgh, VT; and his grandchildren, Amanda Mabbett (Mandy), Marc Pilote, Anthony Bertuna, Erica Pilote Pearce, Nicholas Bertuna and Patrick Bertuna. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Knights of Columbus in Merrill (Mel) Prime's memory.
