With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Lucas Gay of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josh Lucas and Mattie Lou Rozier Lucas. She is survived by: her husband Frank Gay; her daughter Linda Gay Ryan; her grandson Travis Ryan; her children, Pam Gay Porterfield (Earl) of Demorest and Ricky Gay of Hawkinsville; her grandchildren, Chris Tyson (Michelle) of Tega Cay, SC, Kim Futch (Keith) of Cleveland, GA, Stephen Nash (Anna Kay) of Macon, Dylan Gay of Hawkinsville, Riley Gay of Hawkinsville and Shawn Ryan (Regina) of Dublin; and her sister Evelyn Arnold of Cochran. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
