She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Carter and Nellie Blankenship; her husband Carter S. Knight; and her daughter Tracy Knight Bodem. She is survived by: her siblings, Grace Foster, Ruth Ann Mathis, Clara Lee Pence (Tommie), Mildred Beatrice Suttles (Bill) and David Lamar Carter; her daughter Kelly; her son-in-law Robert Schroter; her grandchildren, Danielle Marie Schroter, Jordan Schroter Smith and Brandon Bodem; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Addison, Greyson and Eliana Grace. She is also survived by her husband, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all her extended family and numerous adopted daughters.
