With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Darnell Petro of Blairsville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Baker and Mary Sharp Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Rick Gattlin, Don Petro and Lisa Waggoner.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Petro of Blairsville; her son Ryan Reeves of Riviera Beach, FL.; her siblings, Beverly Gattlin of Parker, CO. and Ron Baker of Atlanta; her grandson Bennett Reeves; her nieces and nephews, Mary Kate Baker, Chancey and Wyatt Gattlin; her sister Jana; her brother-in-law Brad Bass; her nieces, Jennifer, Julie and Jessica; her nephew Brandon; her brother-in-law Brian Waggoner; her nephews, Blake and Jacob; and her niece Amanda.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation in Mrs. Petro's memory.
