She was predeceased by: her mother Stella Gentry Craig (Glen Aaron); her son Donald Glen Aaron; and her siblings, Edgar Craig, JD Craig, Herman Craig, Bonnie Mae Lowrance, Sarah Hilburn and Corine Hurley.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Sims; her sister Louise Brown of Lafayette; her children, Daniel Elton Aaron, Dena Westbrooks (Ronnie) and Debra Sanders (Mitchell); and her grandchildren, Aaron Russell, Gentry Hunt (Stovall), Katie Cannon (Steven), Cecil Sanders (Anne), Corey Aaron, Ashley Sullens (Zach), Dixie Conger (Chris), Dawson Aaron (Nicole), Darla Aaron and Dusty Aaron.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blairsville (41 Hunt Martin St, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
