She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roy Nanney and Mary Priscilla Justice; her husband Billie Cothran Metcalf; and her siblings, James Louis Nanney (Juanita Cole), Joseph Roy Nanney Jr. (Martha Conner) and Sarah Lucille Koon (Diane Stitina).
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer; her son-in-law John Elder of Blairsville; her son Rowan; her daughter-in-law Barbara Metcalf of Cookstown, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Mitchell Elder (Samantha), Nicholas Elder, Saul Metcalf, Kim Metcalf and Ashley Williams (Doug). She is also survived by Four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Spencer Baptist Church of Spindale, NC in Margie's memory.
