She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Thomas and Maude Brown Thomas; her husband Homer Nelson; her son Jack Nelson; her sisters, Hazel Holbrooks and Lula Payne; her granddaughter Brandy Zipperer; her great grandchild Bryan Nelson; and her daughter-in-law Dana Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine (James Hemphill), Judy (Larry Payne), Eugene (Lisa Nelson) and Bobby (Jeannie Nelson); and her daughter-in-law Margaret Nelson.
