She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Monkus and Pearl Canup Monkus; her husband Buell Long; and her siblings, Linda Phillips and Kelly Monkus.
She is survived by: her son Randy Long of Blairsville; her sister Wanda; her brother-in-law Larry Maney of Hiawassee; her brothers, Owen (Virginia Monkus) and Alan (Bonnie Monkus); and her grandson Casey Long of Blairsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
