She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Dyer and Irene Dyer; her husband Talmadge Hughes; and her children, Junior "Moe" Hughes, Mary Ann Wright and Joan Hughes Spivey.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dustin Gillispie (Leah), Kimberly Coker (Tim), Holly Morgan (Hunter) and Krystal Kitchens (Calvin); her great grandchildren, Kendall, Dalton, Katelyn, Brittany, Madison, Cayden, Tybee, Huntley Ann and Banks; her brothers, Lonnie Dyer, Charles Dyer and Tommy Dyer; and also Geneva Self (Glenn).
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
