He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jim (Connie Garrett) and Joe (Amanda Garrett); his parents, Carl Garrett and Mary Ruth Garrett; his sisters, Betsy and Ingrid; his brother-in-law Lynn; his wife Janet; his mother-in-law Shirlene Bridges; his aunt Barbara Everett; his uncle Claxton Fortenberry; and his grandchildren, Scott Garrett, Robby Garrett (Bella), Hailey Garrett, Kaitlynn Garrett, Hadley Garrett and Cora Garrett. He was also cherished by his several nieces and great nieces.
