He was predeceased by: his parents, F. G. Martin and Geneva Bramlett Martin; his son Corey Martin; and his sister Glenda Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Betty Livingston Martin of Blairsville; his children, Wesley Martin of Mineral Bluff, Keri McDaniel of Pendergrass, Livingston Wade Oden of Blairsville and Taylor Martin of Mineral Bluff; his granddaughter Sarah Martin; and his siblings, Gail Patrick (Georgia) of Hoschton and Mike Martin of Winder, Georgia..
