He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Mason and Leo Dean Mason; and his siblings, W. L. Mason, Martha Jane Mason, Dorothy Pickelsimer and Bonnie Davenport.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Jones Mason of Blairsville; his children, Casandra Mason of Blairsville and Justin; his daughter-in-law Sabrina Mason of Tampa, FL.; his sisters, Nancy Stevens, Eva Williams, Kathryn (Milo Fox) and Elaine Young; his sister-in-law Geraldine Mason of Blairsville; and his grandchildren, Matt, Stephanie, Amy, Sean and Tyler Pham.
