She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Payne and Bessie E. Patterson; and her brother William "Jackie" Payne. She is survived by: her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Patricia Kendall of Ellijay; her children, Johnny Kendall of Blairsville and Linda; her son-in-law Danny Melton of Blairsville; and her grandchildren, Ashley Kendall, Danielle Melton, Chris Kendall, Jeremy Curlee, Kevin and Chris Teague. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
