It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Nichols Jones (Blairsville, Georgia), who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellard Nichols and Anna Lou Nichols (Gray); her husband Ervin Jones; her sons, Benny Joe Jones and Terry Neal Jones; her grandson Brannon Neal Jones; and her siblings, Edward Nichols and Linda Davenport.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Trudy Smith Jones of Blairsville and Keith Jones (Janet) of Blairsville; her brothers, Steve Nichols (Leigh Ann) of Mooresville, NC and Sammy Nichols (Glenda) of Blairsville; her grandchildren, Billy Jones, Melinda Groves, Hunter, Hayden, Emma Haven Smith, Shelley, Kyle and Jessica Jones; and her cousin Patsy Abernathy. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
