It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Jean Hatchett (Blairsville, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Grindle and Bobbie Jean McKinney; and her sister Connie Queen. She is survived by: her husband Terry Leon Hatchett; her daughters, Rachel (Brad Lindley), Christy Hatchett of Blairsville and Sarai Hatchett of Blairsville; her sister Tammy; her brother-in-law Tracy Hulsey of Gainesville; her brothers, Samuel (Sandye Grindle) and Stacy (Michelle Grindle); her grandchildren, Peyton (Joseph Cone), Courage (Faith Hull-Hatchett), Indigo Hull-Hatchett, Jayden LeJeune, Frank LeJeune and Noah Lindley; her stepgrandchildren, Calista, Tanner Webster, Rainan Lindley, Eden Lindley and Alex Lindley; and her stepgreat-grandson Jack Webster.

The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to Bellview Methodist Church or to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
