He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Nishimuta and Fern Nishimuta; and his sister Ramona Conly. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Nishimuta of Blairsville, GA; his children, Kevin Nishimuta (Ena) of Huntsville, AL, Stephan Nishimuta (Vanessa Vargas) of Lake Wylie, SC, Mary Nishimuta (Walt Baldwin) of Frankfort, KY, Rebekah Hornke of Summerville, SC, Deborah Hammett (Scott) of Hilton Head, SC and James Nishimuta (Diana) of Durham, NC.; his siblings, Donna Tunstall of Crowder, OK and Gary; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Nishmuta of Van Buren, AR and Doug Conly of Boulder, CO. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and 1. 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (3717 GA-515, Blairsville, GA 30512).
