He was predeceased by: his brother Tommy Joe Young; and his parents, Hubert Young and Willie Mae Hedden (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Annie Lucille Beavers-Young of Blairsville; his daughters, Becky Dyer of Blairsville, Debra (Tim Colwell) and Patty Jo (Craig Stephens); his sister Patsy Nicholson of Hiawassee; his grandchildren, Colt (Whitley Dyer), Callie (Jared Wood), Reice Stephens and Mason Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Tilden Wood and Naomi Dyer.
The family is accepting flowers or donations to West Union Baptist Church in Jerry's memory.
