It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrald Fred Stover of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Stover Sr. and Alice G. Phillips Stover. He is survived by: the mother of his children Barbara Phillips of Canton, GA; his children, Todd Stover of Canton, GA and Crissy; his son-in-law Brian Matlick of Rome, GA; his siblings, James Stover of Blairsville, Darryl Stover of Blairsville and Ramona; his brother-in-law Larry Malloy of Gainesville, FL.; his uncle J. Stover; and his grandchildren, Bronwyn Matlick, Quinn Matlick, Madeline Stover and Olive Stover. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Flowers are accepted, or in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in memory of Jerry.
