James Greer Stephens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2023, at the age of 83, James Greer Stephens of Blairsville, Georgia, born in Marianna, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Stephens and Maude Ford Stephen; and his brothers, Hershel Stephens Jr. and Ronald Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Lupo Stephens of Blairsville; his children, Kelly (Tina Stephens), Jamey (Kim Stephens) and Greer; his son-in-law Billy Waddell of Chipley, FL.; his sister Sue Rogers of Dunedin, FL.; and his grandchildren, Phillip (Jessica Stephens), Sarah (Micah Nunamaker), James Stephens, Jordan Stephens (Savannah) and John Baxter. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Coosa Methodist Church in Mr. Stephens memory.
