He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn McMorris (Waltman) and Rudolph McMorris; his former wife Martha Dunaway McMorris (Stanley); his son James Edward McMorris, Jr.; his half-sister Florence Richards (Middleton); his stepchildren, Tripp Dunaway and Traci Chamberlin (Dunaway); and his half-sister Lynda McMorris.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hatchell Crossley McMorris; his daughter Pamela McMorris May (Clay); his daughter-in-law Felicia McMorris (James, Jr.); his half-siblings, Clint McMorris, Ralph McMorris and Jewell McMorris; and his former wife Patsy Meacham McMorris. He is also survived by 5 stepchildren; and 11 grandchildren.
