He was predeceased by: his parents, John Woods and Madeline Woods; his brothers, Jack and Robert Woods; and his stepson Dean Sullivan.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Claude Brown; his wife Martha "Marty" Brown Woods; his son J. Michael Woods; and his sisters, Mary Ann Clearwataer of Morristown, NJ., Marlyn Lunsford of Port St, Pat Smith of Blairsville, GA. and Joanne W. Bruegeman of Idaho.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Woods Family Scholarship Fund in care of the Coosa United Methodist Church of Blairsville, GA in his memory.
