It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Brown of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Brown and Gladys Nelson Brown; and his siblings, Junior, Roger Brown and Willene Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Groover Brown of Blairsville; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Tina Brown of Blairsville; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Rick Rich of Blairsville; his brother Leon; his sister-in-law Lucille Brown of Clarksville; his granddaughter Kayla Thompson; and his great grandchildren, River and Cora Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
