He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd "Jake" Medford and Hazel Allene Medford (Poteete); and his wife Ruth Aileen Cornelison Medford. He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Medford of Blairsville, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Doris and C. L. Tate of Rome, GA.; his nieces and nephews, Sylvia, Jay Chesser, Mark Tate, Larry, Sandra Thacker, Janet, Greg Bobeng, Denise, David Huntley, Steve, Donna Cornelison, Melvin, Linda Cornelison, Bill and Leslie Cornelison; his cousins, Michael, Sandra Westmoreland and Myra Douglas; and his pets, Casper, Cody, Calvin and Moody.
