She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Ashe and Frances Roberson Ashe; and her husband Johnny Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Harold Thompson of Blairsville and Curtis Thompson of Blairsville; her siblings, Glenda Swanson of Murphy, Kathy (Chris Watts), Jimmy (Belva Ashe), Wayne (Patricia Ashe) and Dennis (Eunice Ashe); and her grandson Zander Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins who she all loved, many other relatives and friends.
